Bible time

So I started having a devotional time with Janelle and James right after breakfast because I can sit them both at the table and keep Janelle's attention for at least 10 minutes or so. We are working through Devotions for Little Boys and Girls: Old Testament and using a lesson outline from Hubbard's Cupboard. I am also using printouts from Enchanted Learning to supplement the lessons.

We will also read the coresponding story from The Rhyme Bible Storybook, and maybe try to memorize it :)

This is the Bible that Janelle uses. It is the entire Bible with some pictures. She likes to read from it. I think it makes her feel grown up to have a Bible just like mommy's.

James "reads" this while we do our Bible time. This is a board book so I don't have to worry about the pages being torn, and I think he likes to feel apart of what big sister and mommy are doing.
